Ch. Quissex Master of Illusion

Gus is one of our favorite Smooths' we have campaigned. As a youngster, Emily Gratton exhibited Gus in Canada after he finished his American Championship. He was the Number 1 Smooth Fox Terrier in Canada for 1998. He won 3 All Breed Best in Shows, 14 Group 1st, and 17 Group placements in his Canadian career.

Gus started his specials career in the US with us in the Spring of 1999, co-owned by Mr. Martin Goldstein. To date, in all breed competition, owner-handled, Gus has won 3 Terrier Group 1st, 9 Groups 2nd, 9 Group 3rd, and 4 Group 4th. Gus was also Best of Breed at the Fox Terrier Club of New England Specialty Show on November 27, 1999 under Judge Mr. Denis Springer.

We expect the best is yet to come with Gus as we continue to exhibit him at select shows and Specialties. He is presently rated among the top five Smooth Fox Terriers nationwide. His mark as a stud dog is becoming evident as a handful of pretty puppies is just now starting to be exhibited. Gus was bred and is loved by Mrs. Winifred Stout.

Ch. Buckleigh New Kid On The Block
Andy is one of a very select group of split faced Smooth Fox Terriers who has consistently ranked as one of the top Smooths in breed competition and also as a sire. He made his debut during the Specialty weekend of the Greater St. Louis Fox Terrier Club in June, 1990, and was awarded Best of Winners for a 5 point major under respected Judge Mr. James G. Reynolds.

As an adult, Andy won Best of Breed at the Greater Atlanta Fox Terrier Club Specialty show on April 14, 1991, repeating the same win of his father, our Am. /Can. Ch. Buckleigh Captain Fantastic, a few years earlier. Andy was three times Best of Breed at the Fox Terrier Club of New England Specialty shows, owner-handled. During the Montgomery County Kennel Club weekend of 1994, Andy was Best of Breed at the Devon Dog Show Assoc.

English and American
Ch. Adaire's Diologue of Fieldron

We purchased Bluey as a pup from Jack & Shirley Watson of Fieldron fame during a judging assignment in England. We agreed to leave Bluey in England to make up his English championship.

While still a pup in England, Bluey won 4 CC's and was Best in Show at The Fox Terrier Club National Specialty Gold Cup Show. Bluey was #1 Smooth Fox Terrier in England for 1996.

At his debut show here in the U.S. held during the famous Montgomery County Weekend, Bluey won Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Hatboro Dog Club Show in October, 1996, under respected Terrier Judge, Mr. Fred Ferris. The next day he was Best of Winners at Devon Dog Club. Bluey finished his American championship in November, 1996, by winning Best of Breed at the Fox Terrier Club of New England Specialty from the Open Dog class under respected Terrier Judge, Mr. Charles Deer. In these three shows he defeated in total, 279 Smooth Fox Terriers!

Bluey's record in the U.S. is quite impressive. He won Best in Show on August 31, 1998 at the Schooley's Mountain Kennel Club Show. He was Best of Breed twice at the Fox Terrier Club of New England Specialty Show and also won Best of Breed at the Devon Dog Club on October 3, 1998. In all breed competition, in limited showing, Bluey won 8 Terrier Group 1st, 11 Group 2nd, 10 Group 3rd and 4 Group 4th.

All of these wins were owner handled.

Ch. Buckleigh Anticipation

Julia, in our opinion, is one of the top Smooth Fox Terrier bitches of recent years. She made her debut at the American Fox Terrier Club Specialty show, October 4, 1992, (Montgomery County Kennel Club). She was awarded Best in Sweepstakes over a very large entry. The Judge was one of our top Smooth Fox Terrier Breeder's, Mrs. Winifred H. Stout.

As an adult, again at the American Fox Terrier Club Specialty at Montgomery County, Julia was awarded Winners Bitch by yet another breeder judge, Mr. William Potter, to finish her championship. Julia continued to win either Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed at many of the top all breed and Fox Terrier Specialty Shows across the US during 1995. Julia was co-owned for much of her show career by Andrea Curran of Tucson, AZ.
